Busy weekend for Juvenile Boys

Our juvenile boys teams again have a very busy upcoming weekend. Our U9’s kick it off with the U9 tournament in the Parochial Hall on Saturday morning. Games are scheduled for 10am, 10:30, 11:30 and 1pm in what should be a fun filled morning for our Academy kids who are coached by Jamie Barry and Cathal O’Flaherty on the day.
Our U17’s coached by Brian Foley are on their travels to Tralee on Saturday for the annual James Hobbert tournament. They have 2 pool games against Gneeveguilla (9:40am) and St Vincent’s (12:20) with quarter finals scheduled to start at 13:30 in what should be good preparation for the Billy Kelly tournament over Easter.
Our 14’s are in action in the Emmett Neville tournament in Neptune on Saturday and hopefully into Sunday. Demons have been drawn in a tough pool but our guys have been training hard over the last few weeks in preparation for this and the league playoff. They have 4 pool games scheduled for Saturday – Limerick Celtics @ 9:50am; Moycullen @ 11:30; Belfast Star @ 2pm and Kerry Green @ 3:40pm. All going well, semi finals are down for decision on Sunday morning at 11am and final is at 1pm.
Our U12’s are also in action on Saturday as they look to continue their unbeaten league run with a game against Limerick Lions @4pm on Saturday in the Parochial Hall.
As always, all support is greatly appreciated! Let’s go Demons!
