Congratulations to Blake Murphy & Busy Juvenile Weekend Ahead

Congratulations to Blake Murphy who this week made the final team selection for the Ireland U16 team after months of hard training. It is a great honor for Blake, his family and Blue Demons to make the team even though he is under 15 and now the real preparation starts for Paul Kelleher’s Irish team.
It is another busy weekend on the juvenile front with our U15’s coached by Dave Lehane, Conor Deasy and Dermot Looney playing in the John Coughlan tournament on Saturday 3rd January in the Parochial Hall. It is going to be a long day and a severe test of endurance with no less than 4 pool games before the knock stage of the tournament. Our pool games are vs. Fr Mathews @ 9:30, Sligo @ 11:30, St Brendan’s @ 12:30 & Moycullen @ 3:30. Best of luck lads!
On Sunday morning (4-Jan), we host 4 league games in the Parochial Hall. Our U10’s play Ballincollig @ 10am and our U13’s play E.C. Glenmary while at 11am our U11’s play Ballincollig and our U16’s play Limerick Lions.
As always, support at all these games is more than welcome.
Also, our Boys Academy is back in the Mardyke Arena this Sunday from 10:30am to 12pm with new members welcome.
