Credit has to go to the fans for giving us an added boost.

With 2013 coming to a close there is a feel good factor amongst the team. After all the hard work in the summer we find ourselves 8-0 in the league and in the Cup semi finals. Our home form has been excellent and a lot of credit has to go to the fans for giving us an added boost. The team has really stuck together on the road and we are lucky to have veteran leadership from Shane Coughlan, Niall O’Reilly and coach Colin O Reilly. We have come across some tough opponents on the road, beating UL by 2 points on the opening night, Star by 5 points and Killester by 5 points. Our 4th quarter performances were key in these victories with some impressive defensive performances from Christian Anon and Kyle Hosford.
A lot of credit has to go to our American Lehmon Colbert for our early success this season. He is an efficient scorer around the basket and a willing passer out of double teams. We are delighted to have Lehmon on our team this season.
We will take a few days break to recharge the batteries and enjoy Christmas but we realise that we have a tough month ahead. As a team we look forward to January. Along with a tough semi final fixture against Killester we have upcoming league fixtures against UCD Marian, UL Eagles and DCU Saints. All of these teams are hurting because their cup runs have ended, so we need to be at our very best.
There is always a great buzz being involved in the cup and the team is thrilled to involved. The fact that the cup semi final weekend is held in Neptune Stadium gives the fans an opportunity to come out and support the team.
