C&S Blue Demons D1 Team face Fr. Mathews Away & U20’s Draw Templeogue at home.

C&S UCC Demons have been handed a tough opening round draw against UCD Marian in the Senior Mens National Cup. The opening round is based on a two legged home and away tie where the team with the best aggregrate score will advance to the next round. The victors from the Demons and Marian game have been granted a bye in the qtr final so will automatically advance to the semi final stage.

C&S Blue Demons Division One team have been pitted against local Cork rivals Fr. Mathew’s. Shane McCarthy’s side will take on Mathew’s in a winner take all game in Ballyphehane. The victors from that game will take on the winners from the all West clash between Titans and Moycullen in the quarter-final stage.

UCC Demons U20 team have been drawn at home to Dublin side Templeogue. Willie McCarthy and his team will be pleased to have secured a home draw and will fancy their chance of progressing to the next round if they played to their potential. No doubt the team will be gearing up for the tie over the next few weeks with some intense training sessions.

Best of luck to all three teams and lets hope we will be heading to Dublin in the New Year to challenge for National honours.
