Colin O’Reilly, C&S UCC Demons Coach:

First plays Second in what should be a great game. As a Club we are delighted to host the Cup weekend, while as a team we are fully aware of Demons Cup tradition and have prepared as best we can for the game. As defending champions we are going to leave everything on the floor to try make sure it’s a successful night for the team, club and fans.
Swords Thunder have had an excellent season so far and have pulled out many close wins. They bring great size and physicality which we have to match from the outset and force them into a very high tempo game to get our athletes going. It’s a game that’s very hard to call as there are tough match ups all over the floor which should lead to an enjoyable night for a full house in the Mardyke.
