Colin O’Reilly, C&S UCC Demons Coach

We welcome Killester to the Mardyke for the second leg of the Cup with a 25 point advantage. We all know from last year that no lead is safe in basketball and we have prepared for this as if it’s a standalone quarter final. Both teams know each other very well and always give great entertainment when playing each other. As always we will look to set the tone with a physical and high intensity defensive effort to help ignite our offense. We have scored the ball quite well this season and will look to continue spreading the floor to create driving lanes for the individual talent to take over. The cup plays a special part in Demons history so it’s up to us as a team to get the crowd going early and make it an uncomfortable experience for Killester.
