Colin O’Reilly, C&S UCC Demons Head Coach:
While we expected to go to Dublin and have a chance of winning down the stretch, never once did we think we would win by such a large margin. Again it was a game where we lacked consistency across the 40 minutes but we’re however able to put together a very high quality performance when we were in sync. Each player contributed to what was a very hard nosed defensive performance while our ball movement at times brought back memories of us at our best last year. A positive step in the right direction and everybody’s confidence should be up after the performance. We now must build on this and take the next step towards putting together a 40 minute performance. It will take us time and the only way is for us to keep competing against each other at training to make sure we are ready come game day at the weekend.
