What a great end to what has been a great regular season. The show put on was fantastic as all the juvenile players got to experience the seniors raise the League Trophy. To go undefeated in the league is something we discussed at Christmas and was something we used as motivation moving forward. This group is never satisfied and have always looked for that next challenge to confront.
For the game itself it was a case of trying to perform as best as possible to help us for the defense of the Champions Trophy. Each player put in a good shift and should carry that confidence going into the last two weeks of the season. We will enjoy the next couple of days before we refocus and tune in for what will be a very tough challenge in Galway.
