Golden Jubilee Year
To mark the historic 50th year the club have decided to organise various events and give present and past members and their families opportunities to show their appreciation of the time and effort that has been put in by numerous volunteers over the lifetime of Blue Demons Basketball Club.

50 Club
This is open to all non club members to join for a token membership of €50 and will be given in return various gifts and preferential treatment to enable them to fully participate in the Golden Jubilee celebrations.

50th Yearbook
The publication of the club history mainly in pictorial form is being undertaken and a launch date is being set for early 2016. Present and past members will be asked to assist in the compiling of this historical book by making some old photos and snapshots of yesteryear available for reproduction. The book will incorporate DePaul Boys Club so any fathers of the present members should search for those old photos of their time as juveniles etc.

Gala Dinner
The venue is booked: Silversprings Hotel.
The date is set: Saturday 13th February, 2016.
This should prove to be a historical occasion with many of the members from 1966 and throughout the past 50 years being present, it is also hoped to have some other sporting personalities present who have been associated with the Blue Demons Club.
