Our Intermediate Team contest their 2nd National Cup final in 2 years when they play the highly talented BC Leixlip Zalgiris from Kildare on Sat 27th January in the National Basketball Arana. Our lads won this tournament last year and have trained hard for the final as they prepare to face off with the highly fancied BC Leixlip Zalgiris who were also finalists of this tournament in 2016.All the club is behind our team and we wish them the very best of luck in their quest to bring another national cup to the club

“There is no doubt we have a huge task on our hands as they have a very experienced, talented and deep squad. We watched them in the other semi-final against UCD Marian who we beat last year in the final and they look a very well drilled team who use the physical & height advantage they have over teams very well. Luckily for us we go in to the final with a clean bill of health and have trained hard for this, Even though we are a young team with 2/3 experienced players a lot of guys have played in the Arena before which hopefully helps on the day. It will a tough battle on the day but we will stick to our game plan and see how far it takes on the day. Hope to see the demons fans get right behind our boys for the full 40mins”
