It is a busy 10 days ahead with 3 juvenile teams down to play CCB Championship finals in the Parochial Hall. First up this Tuesday (19-Jan) are our U16 team who will be looking to get revenge for their U16 tournament loss to Neptune. Dave Lehane and Dermot Looney’s troops should be ready for this game and expect a great battle this Tuesday @ 6:30pm.

On Friday night (22-Jan), our U12 team in their debut competitive season play Neptune in the U12 final. Our lads have battled hard all season and will be looking forward to displaying their talents in front of parents, supporters and coach’s Jim O’Sullivan and Brian Horgan.

On Tuesday (26-Jan), our U13’s will be looking to gain revenge against Fr Mathews after they lost their unbeaten league record yesterday afternoon in Douglas by the slenderest of margins. Brian and Tony Foley’s troops are not used to losing games after victories in the CCB U13 tournament and Titans Invitational tournament already this season. I am sure Brian and Tony Foley’s troops will come out all guns blazing.

Our U14’s coached by Darren O’Leary put up a brave performance in losing to Ballincollig in the U14 championship final last Tuesday night (12-Jan). Our lads pushed hard but were unable to get close on the night against a very good Ballincollig team but I am sure our lads will learn from the experience.

We would encourage all Demons members, parents and supporters to come out and support our teams in the championship finals.
