The second half we got back to Demons basketball.
Last Sunday we pulled out a convincing win against a solid Belfast side. Even though we won by 23 the players were not satisfied which is one of the great things about this team. Everyone is willing to improve and keep pushing to make us better. The game was really a game of two halves. The first was more like an all star game. Neither team played much defence which led to some exciting basketball, capped off by the made half court shot from a star player. The second half we got back to Demons basketball. We held them to 26 points and got out on the run. Also it was pleasing to see us get to the foul line quite a bit as that shows everyone was in attack mode and uses extra aggression on offence. Also a big factor was in the third the crowd really got behind us and helped the run. Players feed off the positive energy from the stands so it was good to reward with a win. This week we will continue working on what we feel will make us successful in the next game. The next game is always the most important so it’s all eyes towards Templogue next Saturday.
