Teddy O’Leary, one of the founder members of Blue Demons Club in 1966, passed away yesterday.
Teddy had a distinguished basketball career and starred for De Paul Boy’s Club and Cork at Under 16 and Under 18 level. Teddy was a fierce competitor with a superb jump shot and made the transition to Blue Demons Senior team an easy task.He was always a good humoured, happy person and he continued to contribute through sponsorship to the club after a distinguished playing career. He participated in all the club’s recent Golden Jubilee events.

Funeral Arrangements – Reposing at his home Wednesday evening (14th) from 6.00pm to 8.00pm followed by removal to the Church of St Mary and St John, Ballincollig. Requiem Mass at 11.00am Thursday (15th). Funeral afterwards to St Oliver’s Cemetery.
