UCC Demons need better efficiency on the end of the floor as a group

Colin O’Reilly, UCC Demons Head Coach:
Entering the second half of the season we see ourselves a bit off the league leaders however our record does not tell the full story about the injuries and schedule we have gone through these past 12 weeks. We are about a week away from having a full healthy and available roster which will help us build on foundations we have put in place the past couple of weeks as our numbers have grown.

To begin we head to Tralee to face one of the favourites for all competitions. We have played them already this season but both teams will be different on Sunday. We have both had our ups and downs and are looking to start the second half of the season in a positive manner. For us we are looking at the defensive end for our improvements. We do not have to reinvent the wheel, but we do need better efficiency on the end of the floor as a group. The potential is there for us to improve so now it’s a matter of putting what we have practiced on the floor during games.

It will be interesting to play this league game with the cup looming however when Tralee and Demons play the one thing that’s guaranteed is entertainment and passion from both players and fans.
