Blue Demons Girls U12 recorded a comprehensive victory over Mallow.
Blue Demons U10 girls team displayed their enormous talent by winning all three games in the blitz held in the Parochial Hall last Saturday. Demons’ up and coming stars played tremendous team basketball to notch up emphatic victories over Fr. Mathew’s, Ballincollig and Midleton. Aine Murray, Megan Constant and Laura Hannigan excelled while Casey O’Donovan and Ava O’Donovan also played superbly. The teams success was the wonderful skill and determination shown by all members of the team. The future looks bright as this pool of players have enormous potential.
Blue Demons U12 team withstood a spirited Mallow team to win by 16 points. Ava Rodgers was the star of the show as she converted several top class baskets off incisive drives to the rim. The talented guard is definitely destined for great things as she possess tremendous speed and skill. Holly O’Flynn, Tori Walsh and Kathie McCarthy also performed admirably.
