C&S Blue Demons Coach Tim O Halloran

Another away game done and more importantly another huge win.In a league where I think there are about 5-6 teams can win the league it is crucial that you pick up some points away from home.To be able to do that you have to have a team that battles and gives 100% every game and up to now that’s what the lads have done,we are now 3 and 1 and haven’t played at home yet. Saturday was a very difficult game against the reigning champs but we dug in and got the win. We started very well with great play on both end’s of the floor and were up 9 at end of the 1st. In the 2nd we played ok and went in at the half with a 5 point lead. I said to lads that we need to up it again in the 2nd as they were going to come at us and that they did. The 3rd quarter was poor and they went up 6 going into the last qtr. What I have found over the last 2 weeks is that this team never gives up and when under pressure they don’t go hiding. A brilliant team display in the 4th  as we never went away from our game plan and we held them to just 12 points which enabled us to get the win. I would like to thank the supporters who travelled to the game and  we now switch our attentions to the cup game next Sunday in the Mardyke at 2pm, As this is our 1st home game I hope to see our supporters come  out and support us on the day in a very tough fixture.
