Colin O’Reilly, C&S UCC Demons Head Coach:
Our first home game of the season is finally here and we welcome Limerick to the Mardyke where we return for the first time since winning the treble. We have been moving along quite nicely as a group over the past 3 weeks. Our intensity in training has reached another level and it has showed in an increase in performance during the three games. Tomorrow gives us a chance to test ourselves again and to build a nice platform at home. Limerick are coming to Cork with nothing to lose. Having won the league only a few years ago they have completely changed direction and are now a somewhat unknown in the league. They are level with us in the league so it’s important we match their energy from the start. We are looking to become a bit more expansive and free flowing as a group which makes us more unpredictable for the opposition to deal with. This game gives us an opportunity to set the tone for our home games this season and gives our fans a chance to see what they can expect from the team.
