C&S UCC Demons expect cup semi-final against Thunder to go down to the final few minutes

The cup has always held a special part in Demons fans heart and this season sees the same passion coming from the club to try retaining the trophy. Tonight sees us go up against an in form Thunder team. They are a free scoring high energy group who have multiple weapons all over the floor. It’s important for us to get a good start and gain some traction in the contest. Cup semis have a habit of being very unpredictable so we are hoping that when something happens that we are right in the game and have settled down to our style of play. I see this game going down to the final few minutes with the winner being the team that gets a run at the right time. There is a lot of individual talent on both sides to look out for. It should be an exciting contest in what we hope is a sold old Mardyke arena.
