Saturday we start the defense of our cup title. We have a target on our back as every club wants to take what is ours. The first round pairs us against Killester a team we know very well. The two legs mean we can’t win the tie on Saturday but we can certainly lose it. In cup competitions every basket counts so our goal is to limit their easy baskets in transition and force them into a half court game. It is also vital we bring a lot of physicality to the game while leaving our guards inject the necessary tempo to the game. We are playing quite well at the moment but as everyone knows the cup takes on a life of itself and anything can happen.
