“After a weekend off last wee and We are preparing hard for our 1st local derby of the year when we play Fr Mathews in the Mardyke on Sunday. I went to see Mathews play last Saturday night against Kilkenny and they were always in the game. They have a few very good players and although they have lost 4 games they have not lost by much. This is another huge game for us and if we manage to get the win would set us up nicely for the run in after Christmas. The lads have being great so far this season and have put in a lot of commitment and I feel we are getting better with every game, that said I think we can still improve in certain areas and we will be working hard to do so”
