Our U9’s make their debuts today(Sat 21st Feb) in the CCB U9 tournament in the Parochial Hall. It should be a fun morning with their games at 10am, 10:30am, 11:30am and 12:30. Coached by Jamie Barry and Cathal O’Flaherty, it should be an exciting morning.
Thanks to our Super and National League players and coaches who made a visit to our Academy last Sunday to have some fun with the kids and who were very excited to get their hands on the National Cup trophies.
Our U10’s have a busy weekend ahead with 2 games – first game today away to Fr Mathews(2pm) and play Ballincollig away on Sunday @ 11am.
We have 4 games in total away to Ballincollig on Sunday. Our U12’s will look to continue their winning run in the league against Ballincollig at 12pm tomorrow. The team coached by Stephen O’Leary and Cathal O’Flaherty have continued to improve throughout the season.
Next up in Ballincollig will be our U18’s coached by Brian Foley @ 1pm. It’s been a tough season for our U18’s but they have tried hard in each game.
The big game of Sunday @ 2:30pm in Ballincollig will be our U14 game. It should be a big battle as the top 2 teams in the U14 league go head to head and all eyes will be on this result but I am sure Dave Lehane & Dermot Looney’s troops will give their all and push for a big away win. Our U14’s had the ideal preparation last Sunday in the Parochial with a tough battle against Fr Mathews as they pulled away late on to win on a score line of 64-52.
