As a group we feel we have prepared well.

We finally get our season underway this weekend against defending champions Limerick. Although its a very tough opener for us its also a game that will focus our minds straight away to the job on hand. This early in the season, there is no form guide so from a preperation point of view, most of our attention has been spent on our own performance while outlining Limericks key strenghts.
As a group we feel we have prepared extremely well and have integrated the six new players to the Premier League squad as best as possible. This is not something that happens overnight and will be an ongoing process throughout the season as we learn how to play together. This in time will lead to improved performances.
We have also brought Tim O Halloran on board as an assistant. Tim has experience of winning in this league and will have a very important role as we move forward. Pat Keane will return for his 100 year as team manager and bring his usual expertise to the side.
