Demons Looking To Continue Winning Run
We hit the road to Dublin this weekend into somewhat of the unknown. Dublin Inter in the past have shown they can beat the top teams in the league but also struggle against lesser teams. With that in mind they are a very dangerous team especially on their home court. They play in a typical European style with a lot of drive and kicks which leads to plenty outside shots and long rebounds. So it’s important we control their guards, challenge shots and rebound with a lot of aggression. Last weekends game showed we are headed in the right direction, but again we are looking to improve on our performance this week. As I said before, forcing the game into a high tempo will suit us best and I feel the guards are beginning to realise that they are the trigger points for this. This is a big game for us as it will show the focus within the squad of the task at hand if we can go to Dublin and put together forty minutes of quality basketball.
