C&S UCC Demons Warm Up For New Season With Pre-Season Games
C&S UCC Demons continued their strong pre season form by defeating UL and Neptune at the Mardyke Arena last Saturday. It was the first time that Demons supporters got to see new American signing Lehmon Colbert in action. The 6’6 centre showed his class throughout the day by scoring some delightful moves in the post and dominating the defensive glass. Kyle Hosford and Adrian O’Sullivan also shone brightly as they set the tempo for the entire team with their tenacious defence and up tempo transition basketball. C&S UCC Demons veterans Shane Coughlan and Niall O’Reilly looked in good physical condition. The duo contributed enormously at both ends of the floor. Ciaran O’Sullivan showed some nice touches while Brian O’Neill and Colin O’Reilly posed problems for the opposition defence with their long range shooting. Daniel O’Sullivan, Mark O’Leary and David Murphy brought great energy and endeavour when introduced into the games. C&S Demons new head coach Colin O’Reilly has now got his sights set on their opening Premier League game.
