Congratulations to our U12 & U13 teams who have been confirmed as CCB League Champions in the last week. Our U12’s coached by Jim O’Sullivan and Brian Horgan have been undefeated all season. Our U13’s had some very tough battles over the season but have also won their league. Congrats to Brian, Tony and all the team on a great league season.
A big congratulations to James Beckom who has recently been announced on the Ireland U16 squad. Congratulations to James and his family on this honor! There is a serious amount of talent and commitment required to make an Ireland team and James joins the list of Demons who have worn the green of Ireland.
This coming weekend sees James and our U16 team in action in the All Ireland Club Championships (AICC) in the Parochial Hall. Dave Lehane and Dermot Looney’s troops qualified for the AICC after their great CCB league victory. Their games tip off on Saturday morning(16-Apr) at 10:30am against Sligo All Stars. Their second pool game is against Belfast Star @ 12:30pm. All going well, quarter finals are down for 16:30. Semi finals are penciled in for 10:30am on Sunday morning. All the best lads!
Our U12’s are in action on Friday night (15-Apr) @ 6:30pm in the Parochial Hall in the semi final of the CCB Top 4.
On Tuesday next @ 7:30pm, our U18’s will play Ballincollig in the semi final of the Top 4.
Our U14’s coached by Darren O’Leary have already qualified for the Top 4 final on Saturday the 30th April after a good victory last Tuesday night against Fr Mathews.
