Blue Demons U14 & U16 Boys teams will this weekend compete in the All Ireland Club Championships. Both tournaments are 2 day events with our U14’s playing in Neptune on Saturday & Sunday while our U16’s are based in Firhouse in Dublin and it’s the first time we have had our juvenile teams competing at both these events in the same season in what will be a very competitive weekend for both teams.
\nOur U14’s qualified as a result of winning the Cork U14 League and have some very competitive games ahead on Saturday. Dave Lehane & Dermot Looney’s troops face the following game schedule: Kubs of Dublin @ 10:30am; Titans of Galway @ 12:30; Belfast Star @ 2:30pm and finish Saturday’s games with a game against Sligo All Stars.
\nOur U16’s also qualified as a result of their consistent performances in the U16 league.
\nConor Deasy and David Beckhom’s team will depart early on Saturday morning. Our U16’s also face some challenging games. They start with a game against Kubs @ 10:30am followed by Moycullen @ 1:30. They then play St Mary’s Castleisland @ 4:30pm and finish off with Sligo @ 6:30pm.
\nDepending on placing post Saturday’s games will dictate the game times on Sunday.
