Our U12’s completed the quadruple of league, tournament, championship and Top 4 on Tuesday night in a packed Parochial Hall as they finished the season unbeaten which is a huge achievement by Stephen O’Leary and Cathal O’Flaherty’s team.
\nDemons played Fr Mathews in the U12 Top 4 final on Tuesday night. Demons started brightly and were 21-16 up at half time. The game continued to be a tight affair in the 3rd quarter with Demons staying ahead 27-22.
\nIn the 4th quarter, Demons upped the pace as Mathews reduced the deficit to 2 points. Demons ran the ball with good efficiency and with some great passing and tough defense, our U12’s ran out winners on a scoreline of 44-30 to finish the season unbeaten. They enjoyed a well earned team celebration afterwards.<\/p>\n
Our U16’s were unlucky last Saturday in the Top 4 final against Neptune, our lads have put in a huge effort all season and have been ultra competitive in every game but our U16’s can be very proud of themselves as they lost out on a scoreline of 85-77 in a high scoring game.<\/p>\n
The last game of our Juvenile Season is this Thursday(30th April) when our U14’s play Neptune in the Top 4 Final in the Parochial Hall with a 6:15pm tip off. All support greatly appreciated.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
