Blue Demons U14’s coached by Darren O’Leary were victorious in the semi final of the CCB championship on Friday night(18-Dec) in the Parochial Hall against Limerick Celtics.\u00a0 Demons started well and were leading 20-7 at half time after a very good defensive performance.\u00a0 Our lads continued the scoring in the 2nd half and the score stood at 32-18 at the end of the 3rd quarter with some good fast break basketball. Celtics finished strong in the 4th quarter but Demons were never in trouble and won on a scoreline of 39-30 as they look forward to the championship final in January. Well done lads!<\/p>\n
Our U13’s traveled to Galway today(19-Dec) for an U13 tournament hosted by Galway Titans. Brian Foley’s troops were full of confidence after their championship semi final win last Tuesday night. Our U13’s continued their winning streak as they beat Sligo in their first game on a scoreline of 44-28. Next up were the host club Titans and this was a very good game with Demons edging it on a scoreline of 44-40. Demons played Dublin Sonics in the final and won on a scoreline of 49-41. Congrats lads on another good day out and thanks to Brian Foley and Jim O’Sullivan for coaching and driving today.
