Our U12 boys team completed a clean sweep of CCB competitions after victory today in the CCB Top 4 final against Neptune. Our lads have remained unbeaten all season in Cork with league, tournament and championship victories already in the bag.<\/p>\n
Coached by Jim O’Sullivan and Brian Horgan, our lads started strong in the first quarter today to lead 11-7. In the second quarter, Demons moved the ball well and stretched their lead to 21-14. In the 3rd quarter, Demons looked inspired as the defense tightened and picked up the pace on the fast break to stretch the lead to 33-18 after only conceding 4 points in total.<\/p>\n
In the 4th quarter, Demons pushed again and ran out winners on a scoreline of 44-28 to complete a great season.Congratulations lads on your fine performance today and throughout the season.<\/p>\n
Our U12’s will continue to train hard in the coming weeks with our lads traveling to Belfast at the end of May for a tournament hosted by Tigers basketball club.<\/p>\n
Our U14’s coached by Darren O’Leary gave their all in the U14 Top 4 final but they came up against a very talented Ballincollig team but our lads can be very proud of their efforts over the whole season.<\/p>\n
