The league champions UCD visit us as the look to stay in the hunt for the title. UCD are in a rich vein of form and boast the deepest roster in the league. With that they have added a new American in the past few weeks from Swords Thunder which has given them extra fire power to go with one of the leagues best defences.
\nWe return home after 2 tough road trips. Against Templeogue we were within 7 with 4 minutes to go and on an 8-0 run however did not execute a basic defensive assignment after their time out which put the game out of reach but we feel we played well I large chunks against the league leaders. Last week against Maree we led by 20 in the fourth quarter after playing a near perfect first 30 minutes. We had contributions from all eight players that stepped on the floor which helped keep our defensive intensity. They went on a nice run in the closing minutes which also gave us an opportunity to work on some game management coming down the stretch. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
